MSA Global Technologies Ltd as a new business will provide IT consulting and IT support services and retail of selected IT gadgets (base on customers’ demands) to Small and Medium Businesses (SMB’s) mainly Retail outlet, Companies, Associations, Hospitals, Government/Non-governmental organizations, Schools and Other Institutions in Yola.

Our target market and customers is mainly Retail outlet, Companies, Associations, Hospitals, Government/Non-governmental organizations, Schools, Other Institutions, Individuals, etc in Yola.

Customers’ profile


In Yola, a growing City, there are a lot of students and academicians due to the large number of Secondary Schools, Private Schools and Higher Institution namely Federal University of Technology, American University, Adamawa State Polytechnic, College of Education, College Legal Studies and others all in Yola. There is also a growing number of industries, companies and other small and medium businesses their by creating a relatively large demand for IT Services and Equipments such as Web Hosting, Commercial Printing, Desktop publishing, Internet Services, E-commerce, Computer repairs and lots of other IT and IT support services.

Growth trend


We intend to increase the number of outlets we have, but before we do that we will increase the number of services we offer to business oriented services like IT Outsourcing, IT Security and other IT services on base on demand.

Market growth


The market is growing by the day due to the increase awareness of ICT by staff of Business, schools, public servants etc. the Government is insisting public servant to be IT complaints. The villagers are not left behind as they also know that they have to go online for their Examinations, applications and a whole lot of thing, so all these will lead to the growth of the market in my location.

Pricing


To maintain profitable pricing of my services and products, my pricing is not going to be more or less than that of my competitors. I will maintain a moderate pricing in-order not drive away my customers.

My business environment is going to be conducive for my customers as it will be made very comfortable and welcomed.

Vision


My passion for this business is linked to my early exposure to computer way back in 2001 when I was in Primary 3 in Jalingo. I was just nine years old when I started attending Micronet Computers as a trainee of Mr. Olanrewaju. I attended Digitest Web Design Competition 2004. Due to this exposure I picked up interest in IT and IT related affairs.

The vision of my company is to be the Technology partner of choice for small and medium – sized business in different lines of specialized industries including manufacturing industries, construction companies, retail outlets, architectural firms, etc. We are going to serve these firms by creating a customized IT plan that will support their businesses by increasing their efficiency, unlocking their potential clients and serving their clients better while taking account of their forecasted growth strategy.

Work experience


1.    2001 – During my training with Micronet Computer, I Started a temporary Job in my father’s office when he was the Coordinating Inspector Federal Inspectorate Service Jalingo. The job was mainly typing, graphic design and some other office work.

2.    2003/04 – When I was in JSS 1 & 2 I did another temporary Job in the Principals Office FGC Sokoto.

3.    2004 – I attended Digitest a 2 weeks training and web-design competition in Abeokuta, Ogun State organized by Digital Peers International a Non-Organization.

4.    2006 – I started work with Gambe Global Resources Ltd as a Technical Manager in-charge of IT till 2010 when I left for my higher education.

Skills and Abilities


My Skills and abilities include the following:

1.    Web design, publishing and hosting.

2.    Desktop publishing (fast typing, graphic design, etc).

3.    Efficient use of the Internet.

4.    Repair of computer.

5.    Database management.

6.    Good vocal, I speak English, and Hausa fluently I also speak Fulani.

7.    Over time working.

8.    Ability to work in a team.

5.    Concordia College Yola 2006/2007 – 2008/2009.

6.    Federal Polytechnic Mubi 2010/20011 – to date.

Internal and cash control

·         Internet café services – customer buy airtime ticket from cashier before proceeding to browsing hall.

·         For other services (web hosting, Graphic Design, IT consulting & commercial printing) – Customers will obtain bills for any of the services from staff providing the service, pay the bills with the cashier and return to the person providing the service for the services to be rendered.

By the end of each day’s business, each sector manager will report the total billing of services offered from his sector for the day to the General Manager. On his part the cashier will also bring the total receipt paid for the day. This will represent the total billing from all the sectors for that day.

Training


We offer IT services therefore we will engage IT experts to train our essential IT staff.

Competitors


My strongest competitors are Abti ventures, City Cyber Café and First Class Computer. They are all in very good location and they have high rating from customers, but they offer only internet café services, scanning and photocopying. Hamman Yero Printing Press and a few others are my competitor for the Commercial Printing. They are still using the old fashion printing equipments, I intend to go Digital. All these competitors don’t have any serious e-commerce plans for now.

I intend to combine some of the IT services they offer like the IT consulting, Commercial printing and internet café services, so that customers don’t have to go different places for similar services.

Growth program (expansion)


We are offering IT and IT support Services for now, we intend to go into sales of selected IT Gadgets base on survey of our customers demand.

As the business grows we intend to increase the capacity of our sector managers by increasing the number of our outlets and increasing the work force under their control.
